In 1969, Garry Comley graduated from East Kentucky University. He spent many years as a teacher and a parole officer in Colorado before venturing into private business. Garry founded two warehouse distribution companies in Colorado and Utah before eventually settling in California. In 1994, he and his wife Lynda started two elder care companies in Riverside, CA specializing in Alzheimer's care. Within the Alzheimers care company, Garry and Lynda pioneered a unique way of caring for people with memory loss by using an animal sanctuary setting, which is now used in many facilities througout the country. Recently, Garry and Lynda sold their company and moved to Oxford, Mississippi to enjoy their retirement.
